It’s an understatement to say a lot has happened between the initial idea and what Succulent Slabs has become. Today, our shop creates inspiring functional art, has expanded its reaches, and still continues to innovate. Most stores just import all their products from designers, but Succulent Slabs invents them.
All of this growth and expansion has been due to the fact that we’ve remained loyal to our original mission of offering quality artistically designed products. But it’s been accelerated by our desire to inspire modern living and bring furniture to life. Although our catalogs aren’t as large as big box stores, our products are exceptionally built and selected.
Joel Estby
Originally starting out selling handcrafted woodwork on craigslist and to friends, Joel Estby began his journey to creating Succulent Slabs at a very young age. Starting his first company at age 12 selling handcrafted candles and wreaths to local stores he had an eye for design and the drive of an entrepreneur.
Going forward he went and got a mechanical engineering degree from Cal Poly Pomona and went on to help start a small startup in the Bay Area that furthered his business and design skills.
Then in 2016 Succulent Slabs was born. With a mission to bring artistic modern furniture to the everyday home, Succulent Slabs is an innovator of design and functionality. Expanding the team, Succulent Slabs now offers a wide variety of products that bring life to people’s homes.
Laura Casasayas
